This research is dedicated to the psychoanalytic theoretical study of sensoriality in online psychoanalytic practice. The establishment of online psychoanalytic practice gained prominence with the COVID-19 pandemic, which first impacted Brazil in March 2020. Safety measures, which included home isolation, led psychoanalysts to migrate to an online service format. Therefore, in the face of this pandemic scenario, it became evident that the social transformations triggered by the pandemic would have a forceful and irreversible impact on our lives, including our clinical practice. Online services emerged as a permanent and complementary practice, introducing a hybrid characteristic to psychoanalysis. In this context, we touch upon a subversion of our view regarding technological influences, which until then had been predominantly studied in their problematic and desubjectivating characteristics. With online services, it became imperative to explore another aspect of this phenomenon: one that unites, connects, pulses, and enables. We problematize the issue of presence in the digital space and its clinical implications. Thus, based on René Roussillon s conception of psychoanalytic practice beyond the couch, it was essential to seek theoretical foundations that supported online practice. Another essential aspect of our research is the deepening of the concept of sensoriality. From the perspective of contemporary psychoanalysis, we revisit the origins, the initial moments of subjective constitution. According to Roussillon s conception of primary processes of symbolization, we also revisited the processes of subjectivation and their implications for the construction of a communication that brings the archaic into its expressions.
