This thesis is an ethnography carried out together with a group of women, the Boleiras do Aterro, who play futsal weekly on a public court located in Aterro do Flamengo. In a dialogue between Education and Anthropology, questions about gender, agency and sociability are raised. A participant observation was carried out to obtain the data. Aterro do Flamengo is considered the stage for amateur soccer matches in Rio de Janeiro and is a fundamental factor in the dynamics of the Boleiras. Based on the observations, it was possible to describe how women interact with this space, between themselves and with the men who participate in the games. Despite being a well-organized group, it is not fixed. Associations and dissociations occur on a weekly basis and the only recurring factor is the games, regardless of who are present. The relationship with men, the uses of public space, the barbecues, the WhatsApp group, and the heterogeneity of this group make it unique. Bruno Latour s Actor-Network Theory (ANT) (2012) was used to describe how the reality of Boleiras unfolds and how agencies occur, seeking to understand it as an effect, a consequence and not something given, ready and stable. I also use the contributions of Lave and Wenger (1991) and Ingold (2020) to understand how players learn this sport, where learning is considered an inherent aspect of all social practice and education is a practice of attention, and not transmission. At Aterro do Flamengo, these women constitute a unique way of learning this sport. In a relationship in which soccer is the link and the park is the space that allows the practice to occur, they incorporate the game and all the relationships involved in its practice.
