Rock in Rio is a worldwide impact music festival, with high cultural, artistic and economic relevance. In recent decades, the event took place in several cities around the globe, such as Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, and Los Angeles. However, with COVID-19 pandemic impacting population lives, the event was postponed from 2020 to 2022. Thus, that study objective was to identify and understand the opinions of Rock in Rio s target audience about the event s date delay. In addition, we sought to identify what were the feelings of the public regarding the postponement of the event, whether they were indifferent, satisfied, or disappointed in face of this situation. And finally, this thesis also aims to propose improvements based on services 7 P s for the event in the current pandemic context. As a result, it was found that the development of structuring alternatives to avoid crowding people, such as stands restricted to groups of 10 people, would not be the best alternative for sanitary security, according to the research participants. Moreover, most participants were unable to say whether they would go to the event regardless of vaccination. Regarding the public s feelings and perceptions of Rock in Rio postponement, the majority claimed to be indifferent to this situation, which may be an indicator that the public corroborates with the event date deferral.
