FLUID LEVEL CONTROL IN A COUPLED TWO TANKS SYSTEM

PID - PROPORTIONAL-INTEGRAL-DIFFERENTIAL CONTROL

The system will be controlled with a PID - Proportional-Integral-Differential Controller. This allows the height of the water in the second reservatory to be controlled with the suitable use of the three gains.

Observations – for the simulation, it was considered that the hydraulic resistances \( R_{1} \) and \( R_{2} \) are equal and constant and that \( A_{1} \) and \( A_{2} \) are the same.

Select the gains and view the fluid height in the tanks.
