OPERATION WITH COMPLEX NUMBERS

Exercise 3

This exercise has the purpose of presenting the computation of the conjugate of a complex number. It is divided in two parts, the first considers the complex number in the Cartesian form and the second in the polar form.

In the Cartesian form

Consider complex number:

x = \alpha + j\beta

Fill the boxes with the values of the real and the imaginary parts of the complex number.

In the polar form

Consider complex number:

x = r.e^{j\omega }

Fill the boxes with the values of the radius and the phase of the complex number.
