This circuit may be used as a first order filter. If the output is the voltage in the capacitor, then the circuit is a low-pass (LP) filter. In case the output is the voltage in the resistor, the filter is high-pass (HP).
When the output is in the capacitor (LP) the transfer function is:

When the output is in the resistor (HP) the transfer function is:

b) Analyze the Bode Plot of this highpass filter for different values of R and/or C.
