NYQUIST STABILITY CRITERION

EXERCISE 6

Consider the system represented by the block diagram and its Nyquist plot:

From the open loop transfer function and the Nyquist plot, determine the numbers of poles and zeros of the closed loop transfer function located on the open right hand side of the complex plane for the cases K = 1.3, K = 1.5 and K = 1.7, and determine the stability limit. Interval of values K for the system to be stable.

Observe that this exercise refers to the same system of exercise 2 in the Root Locus Method Simulator Object. Compare the results obtained using both methods.
